Dr. Pragati Gusmano launched Nesara just this past year when she couldn’t find any comfortable postpartum dresses of her own. Using her fond memories “of the house dresses [her] mom and nani (grandmother) wore” as a drawing board, these dresses are sewn to standard sizes and hand-blocked by artisans using organic dyes for a beautiful finish. Just before I graduated I began my design career as an Interior Designer in Los Angeles with a high-end residential firm. I then spent over seven years in the Model Home Industry as a Lead Interior Designer for two of Southern California’s top award winning Model home Design Firms. My previous experience landed me a position as an Architectural Designer which was elevated to Director of Interior Design, for an exclusive high-end residential firm in Rancho Santa Fe for over 3 years. I then held the position as the Design Director of a high-end interior design firm based in Solana Beach for 4 years. JCID was established during the course of my career, and has evolved to become my primary focus since July 2016.
